Average price means jack unfortunately when a stock goes into liquidation, you still lose 100% of your investment.
I think the deal is unlikely to go ahead, it seems that calling for an administrator indicates a rift between the two parties, as why else would you go to those lengths? It's just another example of the high risk nature of some of these stocks. That's why, unless you are sure of the technology's worth, these sort of stocks are best left as quick trades.
SOX was Microsoft-accredited and all, but its a tough competitive market out there.
