Perhaps NS may try to suggest a re-packaging of AIM is carried out, so that a takeover offer does become attractive?
That way - they get their pound and no responsibility.
Either way (solo or takeover) - it's going to take time and in the meantime getting some real caretakers (emphasis on CARE) onboard would gradually shove it towards this possibility.
