The average punter hasn't really been taking much notice but just about every listed Australian agribusiness has been taken over (CSR's Sucragen, MSF, AAC, NUF, IPL), has had a significant stake bought or is about to be taken over by foreign interests. Don't complain about foreigners buying out the farm ... without foreign money, the farm sector would be starved of the necessary capital to grow and prosper.
