Gold among most other things don't change in price.
It's currency (fiat dollars) that change in value.
Emklein, if you run the numbers on the world's debt you will see why a lot of us feel "currency value" will change significantly soon.
Hence why precious metals and other commodities look as good places to retain wealth.
