Thats probably the basis of their PER objection .......... I note the date was Dec 31.

The fact remains the PER is for oxides only. Anything more later will go thru a full EIS and all will have their chance to say again what would be relevant to the future projects at THAT future time. We have 12 years (so far) of oxides reserves and there aint no U in them. Imagine tho CMR being chastised for having U when others are being praised for same. Bitova joke hey?

But this is not relevant NOW ....... cos unlike what is implied in this article viz CMR trying to "sneak" a toehold so can "sneak" more later ....... things just aint done that way these civilised days. Everything is transparent and will be under full scrutiny as it must. You just cant dump tailings into the Finnis River these days ....... am surprised they could back then (?) .... there are strict regulations to protect everyone so it becomes a win win for everyone.

Pure emotion. These days there are strict enviro regulations in place as part of any mining operation. In fact, the very problem they refer to, Rum Jungle Creek mine, is irrelevant to the scope of the oxides project ...... it aint even that close. But there is no doubt CMR would LOVE to clean up the RJC U mine in an approved U operations later ...... reckon those tailings would be full of goodies ......... and may even get paid for it.

Love that closing line the clean-up should be the responsibility of the former owners, the FEDs and RIO haha cos CMR is only a baby haha. Well the RJC U mine mine is in fact the responsibility of the FEDs but they aint miners. CMR are the miners ta and baby is growing fast.

Gotta hand it to these Greens ....this is the best free advertising for CMR one could hope for ....and prob provides plenty of political leverage for a U-approval being given CMR...... with clean-up of all those nasties (goodies) sitting in the RJC U mine tailings as part of the deal.

Can see where previous Green comments re Co being associated with U come from. There must be plenty of "nasty" Co and who knows how much "nasty" U in the RJC U mine tailings. CMR would certainly not want any of those being wasted down a river when they can be sold to the Chinese instead ! And suspect there's still a lot more U primary ore sitting beneath at 8+ lbs per tonne, plus the supergene at higher grades below maybe (?)

Responsible mining is the name of the game. The CMR crew are as responsible and conservative a bunch as u will ever find. The Greens could instead consider taking a large shareholding in CMR to justify a board member and be part of a clean operation to clean up the globe's problems cos it is a small world indeed......and I would rather new U comes from Oz instead of lessor regulated places with sovereign risk. Why dont the Greens adopt such an Olympian globally responsible attitude instead of such local politics! Why dont they join hand in hand to contribute positively to cleaning up the global mess? Credibility at stake bros.

Meanwhile I will continue my indigenous dancing lessons and start looking for customary laplap in preparation for the Batchelor BBQ shindig for opening day. We already have our contribution to the D-Doo band lined up too. Get real bros.
