re: another predicting doomsday-- debunked
Well, just did some quick searches for comments on this what would appear to be earth shattering interview.
It looks like the person who wrote the article, Al Martin, had a hidden agenda probably relating to gold and bush because he has taken Julian Robertson's comments and stretched them over and beyond reality.

Robertson pretty much says he is worried about the current economic outlook for the US but feels a soft landing is achievable. In fact he is probably one of the more optimistic ones out there, saying he doesn't feel hedge funds are in for trouble - like so many other doomsayers are.
