Of course I become defensive when I suspect less than genuine intent in a post.

Being defensive and simply arguing ones point can be a fine line however...am I not being defensive towards your suggestions right now...or am I simply arguing my point?

The fact i do not agree with you does not mean I am disrespecting you, nor does it mean I am attacking your views. I feel this is where many interpret various exchanges the wrong way.

Fact is, I do not agree with you...but that is O.K....and is also why I asked for you to provide a basis for your argument.

Do that and I am likely to apologise and accept your position...do not and I will likely assume you were out to cause trouble, like most on here targeting me today.

Does that not seem a reasonable response to you?
