I'm hoping for a response similar to VMG after their recent cap raising. That raising seemed to ease some concerns about the financial position of the company and as such the price held above the rights issue price.
SBM have said there was a funding shortfall due to the convertible bonds so they will have some cash to deal with this. I also see it as a positive that the cash is going towards developing a new mine at Tarmoola and not just servicing existing problems.
I will probably take up my rights.
