don't try to justify another broken system. The payout is not based on what you claim above. It is based on the likelihood of if she brings it to court and the costs involved and how much she would be awarded if she did win. Don't pretend employers don't know this or care about the departing employees welfare. You like to paint a different picture though, and I obviously haven't a clue, right?
