the problem with the secrecy in both Morrison and shorten case is the weak justice system. If the former Receptionist opted not to take the deal offered of 20 wks pay on the condition of staying silent, and instead decided to go to court, the likelihood is she would have either lost or received less damages/money from the judges ruling. That's because the judges are weak and the system favours the employer.
