    Excellent and eloquent post.

    It really shows the market is suckers for pretty pictures..

    However I cant see TBR taking over RND as such, more of a gentle merge as time suits.
    Shareholders (and management) are essentially the same in both houses, but take over has costs.. especially for management and directors...

    Management and Directors get an income from both Tribune and Rand.
    Now the incomes are funny coz they dont take a large $ but run packages, roughly, between 80%-98% in options or shares..

    Now as the price is ridiculously low as we know, the packages look pretty reasonable... but if the SP was twice what it is now we would probably baulk..

    At this stage there is no incentive for them to ramp it as they probably dont need the cash and get to build their equity up... and up...

    One day it will change and will probably do so very quickly.. when is the million $ question.

    This is not a negative post as it will be a money maker imho, I am probably just a cynical bloke at times..
