mak thumbs up from me...
and dhukka, your snide nasty comments about anyone that takes issue with your thoughts are not welcome
you use selective criteria to justify your own argument and then use puerile comments like this when it works against you
'that cannot be reinterpreted to mean POH does SPP's in October more than any other month. The statements are completely different. Your grade school understanding of statistics is also obvious'
Grade school indeed! the fact is i can interpret the data whereas you are being selective, and then you go onto to say
'Furthermore, we are talking about 7 instances, anyone who knows anything about statistics knows that a sample size of 7 is far too few to conduct a test of statistical significance.
and
Put another way, even if the capital raising happened 6 times out of 7 in October, statistically that proves absolutely nothing because the sample size is simply too small.'
Well my friend, you are the one that put up the 7 occasions, i can only work with the data that you put up to construct your argument against KC's comments
Its just silly for you not to accept that Oct has a higher relevance than that of any other month of the year
Kc's comment was indeed found to be correct, as oct has been found to be up to 3 times more relevant to the discussion than that of any other month
Oct/nov has a 8.33% hit factor in the 7 years (you chose) as opposed to 2.77% factor for the other months and 0% for the months not touched on at all
8.33% represents a factor of 3 against the other months, thus giving it a far far far higher chance of SPP than any other month as per the history you chose to rely on
you cant argue with the maths as you provided the data to rely and base your argument on
So clearly KC's comments were correct, and you owe him an apology IMHO
Now i am off to the grade school playground again to play with my Mensa mates in the sand pit....ROFL
