Jesus died on the cross, or pole if it suits you better, He is not about to return as Jesus. The dead remain dead, the spirit moves on.
The Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace will not be literally Jesus, but one who has the same set of characteristics, virtues and abilities as Jesus. He will come with a, "new song" new religion and His aim will be to unite the religions and peoples of the world.
He is called The mighty God because His Message will be a global message, not a regional message such as Christ and all other prophets delivered.
As humans have an immortal spirit, those who have lived by the teachings of Jesus will have an eternal spiritual life, not some reconstituted life on earth, that I'm afraid is a fantasy.
Slowly human will learn to be more peaceful but we have a lot of screaming to do between then and now.
