How did @wotsup arrive on the scene? Someone came down like a thief in the night and stole Adam's rib and made Eve after having made Adam from dust. Then a talking snake deceived them and they ate an apple (or some fruit) that they were told not to eat. And then all hell broke loose (literally) and we die, suffer from genetic diseases etc. Now that is a better explanation than evolution.
