This could be answered in the following;
2 Thes 2:10, 11 = This is how it's being restrained (the deception) and first WHY and HOW and By whom and UNTIL.

Why - 10 - And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
How it's being left to continue and By whom -> 11 - And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Until -> 8 - And then the lawless (untruths) will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy = (take away, make an end) with the brightness of His coming.

And Jesus says -> ONLY FEW find = while people have no love of the truth, it is pretty much useless or near on impossible, to break through these Planted seeds, hence it is pointless trying to brake down this wall -> prophesy WILL be fulfilled.

End revealed from the beginning -> early beginnings deception entered, reverse that, it will be near the end before deception goes and Lo & Behold, Jesus arrives WITH the Truth.

Certain points, which are CLERALY stand ALONE points.

Jesus quotes the scriptures -> Deu 6:4 - Hear, Israel! Yehowah our God Yehowah - One Is. = (Father)
He confirms this and gives the context -> John 17:3 - This now is the eternal life, that they should know You (Father) the Only True God and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ.
Paul backs Jesus -> 1 Cor 8:6 - yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things (Isa 44:24, alone and by himself), and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

Jesus clearly identifies the Father independently of himself, as the Only True God when he was here and the following supports this.
John 1:18 - God no one has seen ever yet; the only Begotten God, the being in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known.

Begotten simply showing, he was not a God until being begotten, as Jesus shows in John 17:3.
This is after the cross, exalted and glorified and Now a begotten God, ruling for the Father until death no more, where he then hands to the Kingdom to the Father and is then subject to him, so that the God and Father maybe all in all, by the Holy Spirit that he is and The Word that his is.

So Yep, the 2nd Adam Man Jesus is a God under The God and Father.
Yep the MAN that the Father ordained, who grew in favor with the Father, to the extent that the Father was well please with this Man, just as I am .
But apparently, not for you if he is just a Man, as you put it.
