Wotsup, I'll give you a helping hand with the meaning of "PRETERIST"

Preterism is a Christian eschatological view that interprets prophecies of the Bible, especially those found in the New Testament, as events that have already occurred in the past, particularly during the first century AD. The term "preterist" comes from the Latin word "praeter," meaning "past" or "beyond."

There are two main branches of Preterism:

Full Preterism  This view holds that all biblical prophecies, including those concerning the Second Coming of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment, were fulfilled in the first century, particularly with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Full Preterists believe that the Kingdom of God is already established and that believers are living in the times of fulfillment.

Partial Preterism This view accepts that many prophecies were fulfilled in the first century but maintains that some end-time prophecies (such as the Second Coming and final judgment) are yet to be fulfilled in the future. This perspective allows for a more traditional understanding of some eschatological events while still acknowledging that many passages, especially those related to the fall of Jerusalem, were historically fulfilled.

Preterism contrasts with Futurism, which holds that many prophecies remain to be fulfilled in the future, and Historicism, which interprets biblical prophecies as unfolding throughout history.

Preterism is an important perspective in theological discussions and can significantly influence how certain biblical texts are understood, particularly those in books like Daniel and Revelation.
