RC teaching makes a point that is difficult to ignore.
Paul, Hebrew, James all talk about the justification/righteous of Abraham.
Abraham appears to have been justified/righteous in Gen 12, 15 & 22.
If JUSTIFICATION remains the same today then RC have a valid point regarding justification being an ongoing event.
