You dont need a notice from the seller unless they are a substantial share holder. You dont need one from the buyer either, unless they are substantial or the trade takes them to substantial. Who knows who it is, could be APAC or Jinchuan, we'll have to wait and see if a notice comes out today or tomorrow. It doesnt matter if APAC got their block of shares cheap. Or Jinchuan for that matter. So did you and I. It doesnt effect the value of the company. Have a little faith in the way our market is regulated Brendo! You cannont trade shares in a misleading manner if you are a substantial shareholder. You can not own more than 19.9%. You cannont set up subsidiaries or holding companies to each take a 15% stake so all up the parent company owns 60% or something. This is all highly illegal. We have one of the most highly regulated market places in the world (Im not referring to the day to day trading of stocks as this often stinks), and dodgey practices such as the above mentioned do not happen.
