I do not know the value of the PEET contract, Lakelands Stage 63; perhaps it is in the $3m – $5 million range. The two PEET contracts reported as completed in the H1Y15 presentation were Lakelands Stage 60 Civil ($2.8m), and Lakelands Stage 61 ($5.0m).
BYL's outlook statement made in an 18 August 2014 Announcement was “. . . Brierty expects to deliver revenue of at least $300 million in FY2015.”, and a 24 February 2015 announcement reads:
“Brierty has a number of significant contracts underway which underpin the Company delivering at least $300 million in revenue for FY2015, including:
• $300 million contract for mining and civil work at Western Turner Syncline Stage 2 Project
• $69 million contract to upgrade North West Coastal Highway
• $45 million contract to upgrade Great Northern Highway
• $27 million contract to upgrade Great Eastern Highway
• $100 million Mitchell Creek Green development in the Northern Territory
These are in addition to ongoing smaller contracts for civil works that Brierty continues to win and has a strong track record in delivering profitably.”
On BYL's FY2016 revenue, the 24 February 2015 Announcement reads”“We already have $150 million in revenue on major projects secured for FY16. This underpins future earnings and we will be working hard to build on that figure during the current half.”
BYL needs a few early contracts from the likes of Mainroads WA to ensure its revenue does not retreat in FY2016, because a small number of circa $5m contracts will not suffice to hold FY2016 revue at about $300m. Hopefully, there will be follow-up contracts relating to the Broome Industrial Site development.
