I have the details, but will need to dig them out, I'll post them later. The Collins subs started off badly, but are quite a capable sub and a credit to the Australian Navy and Shipbuilding today, in my opinion.
Whether it's surface or subs, Navy lot of countries are finding it difficult to meet required crew levels and hold on to experienced crew. Extremely demanding environment takes years of training and experience.
