yeah he certainly is the engine room of CFE , that diamond phone was a non event and i reckon his 'movie producer' career will be a dud. After a few years of that 'jaunt' maybe Frank will have to take him in as a consultant :)
Already his soccer team loses him $2.5m a year ( but he does get great business contacts from that sport.)

About the retire/slow down from CFE , this from that 'the deal' article last friday : He came to Australia when 8y.o. to Adelaide , then family moved alot ,
Melb,Perth,Syd,Bris then at 14 to NZ.
"It was very,very difficult and i didn't want to put my kids through it , so i have my base here [Perth]"
Has 3 kids , 15,12 and 10.
While he travels constantly - this year to Sierra Leone,Liberia,Sth.Africa,Brazil,Argentina,Kazakhstan,Greece,Ukraine,UK,USA and Dubai - he tries to limit it to 14 days at a time.

so maybe like a lot of old blokes "these days" it's the missus saying slow down and "enjoy life a bit" plus the the guilt trip " I should of been there for the kids more."
