The State of Emergency will end but the emergency powers are set to stay. Authorized Covid-19 officers will still be able to override peoples ability to go about their day to day life.

Yet again the slow creep of totalitarian governments wins the day. How often do we see this.

1. Start a crisis.

2. Bring in greater powers to deal with crisis

3. Crisis ends.

4. Powers stay.

I don't know Moggs.... but - "the slow creep of totalitarian governments wins the day." certainly reads like fear porn. and doesn't sound at all to be "common sense".

yes he's wrong in this post of his on his FB. so that he's possibly wrong on a number of fronts as he's expressing hatred and fear, not truth or common sense.
