some of those conspiracy things get out of hand tbh and it makes me laugh at who is really spreading them and for what agenda.
Remember during the bush fires, there was a crazy one being spread about Kangaroo Island, the government deliberately burnt the island to remove vegetation to make it easier to approve a lithium mine. The only problem with this, the lithium mine was on the other side of the island and not affected by the fires, drilling years earlier found no recoverable resource and the companies permits ran out years before the fires, due to their failed drilling campaign. But it was a good story doing the rounds for a good few months.
