It didn't have a kitchen or toilet (a tin in an outhouse) - oh Phenyle. I paid the 1900 price and spent a couple of months putting in a sink and handbasin; then a door and window for a bedroom.
Dug the huge hole and drains for the septic with a spade as couldn't afford an excavator.
My own children all wanted a top house in a preferred location, before settling with reality.
