Heres a close-up of the XJO weekly with Treggs' Broadening Wedge formation. Notice XJO closed exactly on the midpoint of the wedge (5860.)
Problem is this doesn't lend much support to my short position does it ... gulp! The only possible comfort I draw from this is the the wedge does not begin from a candle and so may not be valid...gulp!
