AMU announced today that the Wilson #25 well on Raccoon Bend has intersected 33' of net pay in three zones. Estimates of flow rates are not yet available, but a net pay of that size suggest a nice commercial flow will eventuate.
This latest well brings AMU's success rate to 5 out of 7. (Wilson #25 was the 7th of 32 wells they intend to drill before end 2005).
AMU's excellent success rate on Raccoon Bend and on their Lavaca County ground indicates a very hefty jump in oil and gas production and in associated reserves is on the cards.
Just how hefty this will be should be known within a week or two, when the results of production testing of the swag of recent drill successes are announced. But my guess is AMU will be in for a significant re-rating.
(I hold so I am biased.)
