are there any sanctions for late lodgement of changes in substantial s/holding? I was in a company a few years ago and the original vendors sold down their stake - which was a very significant move if it had been known at the time - there were no changes lodged till weeks/months after the event and as far as I am aware, there were no penalties imposed by ASIC. It cost people who weren't aware of the insider selling a lot of money.
So, just because the rules should see changes in substantial shareholdings disclosed, in effect maybe this is not always the case? Perhaps the rules have been tightened since then.
Personally I wouldn't touch GDN again, I don't trust them, if you can make a profit out of it well done but there are easier pickings out there surely.
