"to give a free pass to those who do.". .... and no doubt consequences must be taught to these kids.
no free pass Wang. I do have my own ideas but I'm not very knowledgable on the context. but I worked long enough in the bin and with my idiomatic way of understanding what I observe, I've come to the conclusions outlined above.
there are better ways but the political theme is always getting tougher and tougher to the point where the treatment is way beyond what is sensible or tolerable.
the consequences are born by the whole community. do we want the consequential release of these kids back into where they came from filled with rage and fear.....
this kid had only been released in December. he was arrested a couple of days ago and was in hourly obs in a cell for one night before being released into a cell block with less observation, no camera in the cell. he'd been put into the yard just after lunch where he knew some people and was locked in at 6. he contacted officers at least 11 times by the knock up intercom and finally at 10pm the officers went to check and found him "unresponsive". the link is a fuller description.
I don't know why he was arrested. but does any child deserve this?
