negative stories always SELL newspapers....just look at any headline......but as for financial benefits or conspiracy with external others - wouldn't (shouldn't) happen - editorial freedom etc ...selling newspapers - absolutely that's the balance they need to draw - mind you if it does turn the press will have headlines like "beleagured CNP RESCUED"....to sell more papers...oh the voices of cynicism....
