Are these expenses reltated to your day job or share activitiies????


If they are your day job then they must appear as deduction against your income on your return.

If the deductions are for share activities the expenses ahould be included on both returns 50/50. Unless you can prove a strong case that although the share ownership is in joint names the expense incurred relating to the share activities was incurred soley by you.
