It may be premature but why no pre-emption of HDR's asset sale? Perhaps WPL has enough equity?? It leads me to wonder whether as another poster noted - the JV is happy to have this new big player involved which has local gas expertise and distribution capabilities. If the gas gets developed sooner rather than later that's a big plus. And maybe the JV knows or suspects that there is going to be a lot of gas along with a lot of oil, and gas prices are high?? Any comments.
