A music producer does NOT produce music videos.
I should know, I am a music producer by trade.

A music producer records the music (sound) of bands/artist in the studio or in some cases a live event.
As i stated in other post, a music producer would only get involved in the making of a documentary if there was original score to be produced for said documentary. I doubt this would be the case for some small time doco on a multicultural event. But then again, even if it was, this is only a very teeny tiny part of making a documentary.
