its very easy to apportion blame. my father reversed his austin A40 ute over me, a 7 year old desperate to save his puppy. luckily for me the only injuries were from contact with the undercarriage/shackle bolts, no internal injuries, but another hospital stay which was unfortunately too common for me growing up in a typical rural environment back in the 60s (horse accidents,snake bite,concussion). However when it came time for my own home,children and cars were always separated by a fence, even though it may have looked a bit awkward.minimise the risk to zero.
