The recent fall in the SP, only to late mach levels mind you, can be explained by fundamentals of risk awareness, big boys manipulating the SP etc. The chart does not necessarily look as if the recent fall is the result of bad news, it all looks fairly normal from a chartist point of view although the biggish fall just before the ann is a concern. So while there could be bad news the possibility of good news is not ruled out by the evidence we have to go on.
