...thanks guys ,Yps ,bigD , Hell , Anal , Briter for your responses... ...I didn't actually have XP on CD , so I couldn't actually key in a bodgey serial code even if I was a very naughty individual...which of course I'm not ...and , of course I know all of you are with me in frowning upon such behavior... ...so I ended up by taking it up the jacksey and buying a legit MS XPPro SP2 CD...(*nudge nudge...wink wink*)...say no more...
