Don't get me wrong, I'd love to believe that 6.5 bill empowered humans, or thereabouts, would allow planet earth to continue to develop.

But I dont.

I think humans are too flawed to handle it.

There will always be a more flawed minority striving to grasp the next "advantage" to allow them to have more than their reasonable share of earth's bounty.

That behaviour is repeated in small groups like clubs, associations etc thru to local/state/national governments, corporates, international governments and international organisations and don't get me started on religions.

It's depressing to dwell, so let's not.
