Another awful shooting and symptom of the malaise that cuts across the US.
But now we have a shooting with so many conflicting agendas thru it that how the media will collectively decide on the narrative will be interesting
First off, of course, will be the push to ban assault weapons although the advice so far is it was an "assault-style" weapon - not sure what that means
Then, of course, it was a catholic school so, for many on the left, think they sort of might have deserved some of it and had it coming
Then, of course, the shooter was at first identified as a female...or maybe something else The person is a transgender person.
So the conundrum confronting them...
is that a "victim" status that we should respect and move on from so as not to stigmatise them or
is it one to be exploited as we, the cis folks, probably pushed them to if because of our bigotry
Then, of course, she/he is white... can't let that juicy bit slip thru as we know whites are the root of all evil and if he/she was black, the news cycle would flick her to the bottom fold pretty damn quickly.
