This has just been released. I know Mariana is still in operation and produces bout 33mtpa according to last quarterly.

The fundao dam was the one that was involved in the disaster back in 2015 and part of Mariana operations. Campo grande is the other tailing dam used for Mariana.

Tuesday, 04/16/19 - 19h43According to a civil lawsuit filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Minas Gerais (MPMG), the 1st Civil, Criminal and Child and Youth Court of the District of Mariana decided that Vale should stop throwing tailings or make any type of operation in the Campo Grande dam, which is part of the Mariana / Brucutu complex. The miner must adopt the measure until presenting a report that proves the stability of the structure. The ruling is from Monday (11) and was released by the MP on Tuesday (16).

In addition, Judge Cirlaine Maria Guimarães determined, among other requirements, that Vale prepare a plan of action to guarantee the stability of the Campo Grande Dam within ten days of the subpoena and contract an independent technical audit to oversee the measures repair and reinforcement of the dam.

In the decision, Vale is also obliged to prepare the Manual of Operation of Dams and list all the people who are in self-rescue zone and in the affected area, in case the dam rupture occurs. This includes the presentation of strategies for evacuation and rescue of the population with difficulty of locomotion.

The judge also determines that Vale will register residences and other buildings in the impact zone and report "in a true and complete manner to the population of the area of impact on all measures adopted", through radio announcements and leaflets .

If it does not comply with preliminary injunctions, Vale will have to pay R $ 1 million per day. In the decision, the judge still intimidates Vale to attend a conciliation hearing that will be held on May 14, in the Mariana region.
