I am tending to agree, but perhaps they should move on one of the smaller players left, as a small consolation b4 they too become unaffordable - and b4 the EOFY while it remains tax advantageous.
Also AOE should retain their 20% in PES, and only reliquish it for a share in the spoils.
So much of AOEs future probably lies outside Australia. Therefore lock up some more cheap ground in Aus for the loooong term, expedite the ST, and concede the medium term eg 2014-16 type LNG start ups. In the medium term shift the focus to asia.
Finally, if AOE does offer more for PES, let it be cash, and let it be adequately reimbursed by Shell.
Today? - more maket wobbles than anything AOE specific imho - AOE always seems to be one of the most vulnerable to this type of day.
