I used to look forward to seeing Larry Pickering's cartoon every day on the back of the then "Daily News" paper in WA in the 70's & 80's. I was sad to hear of his passing, he became a bit of a rogue for sure, but he hurt no one.
The reality is the "new generation' of today will never understand or know how to laugh at them selves...how to actually have good clean fun...That said the fun Police are out every day looking for new ways to be outraged and take away any small pleasures anyway.
I hate to think what type of world my grand kids are going to live in in 20 years time...I might still be here then but who knows...I think I'd rather not be though.
