Thanks for your kind words!! always interesting to see what others are doing as we are forever students in this game!!
I still hold QBE but smaller parcel and gradually have reduced my big positions as some of my stops got hit and have moved my capital into cash and miners and banks.....
I never like holding losing positions and love holding and riding winning positions so I like selling losing positions that way it is clearing my mind and freeing up capital.
I agree 100% that at this price QBE will prove to be a cheap entry price in the future, and it is not too late for me to get on board once the trend is fully developed and one of these days QBE will move up strongly day after day and I am watching and waiting for the trend and huge volume to build and once the instos are buying big time then I will be happy to take a huge positions again.
It is just a different strategy nothing right or wrong but I would feel better knowing that the uptrend is set and that way I would then swim with the current...........
What we see now market is too volatile and staying put in some stocks for me is like a sitting target of market moves and as I believe preserving my capital will give me chance of picking stocks cheaply when everyone is running out of cash.
It feels market is nearing its bottom and some bargains like QBE will be confirmed soon........and it will be nice to have cash to start moving up with the trend and to me this is one of those rare situations when market may move by 10 to 15% in a few months and that is when big profits are created..........as you said most people will have no cash to capitalise on this opportunity.....as for me I have time to wait.
QBE looks goood at this level......if I have to wait for it to go up I would be happy to.
