This is the crux of an email I sent to DC some months ago. I told him how crap his communication with his shareholders was and suggested a few ideas for him to try. No response and no change. I even pointed out that their report on the Spanish drilling field has wind turbines on the cover. Talk about a confused message - still that probably reflects their competence and agenda - confused.

Yes, I know what I wrote was a pipe dream, I am not that naive. But surely it is time to start something different.

Yes, I agree that management and the board need to go. In the meantime, if they won't communicate sensibly with their shareholders, perhaps the shareholders should start their own communication strategy. After all, doing it the current way hasn't worked out so well.

Oh, and NO, I am not DC. I would have more respect for my company's owners than he does.
