clearly there are benefits to adding fluoride to water
and yes there is some evidence fluoride in water may be harmful
But it there is far more evidence showing heavy metals and other harmfull substances in water are far more dangerous.
It would therefore only be logical to rather than whine about what is in the water fit a decent but relatively cheap water filtration system. Which is going to remove all heavy metals and other dangerous substances from the water and can also leave or remove flouride depending on whether you want it to remain or not and what sort of filtration system you use.
