As someone who sounds like they might hear the odd whisper here and there, do you have an opinion on Mark Gunther's departure?
For all we know it could have been personal reasons; but assuming it wasn't, it always struck me as an odd decision. My mail is that he was overly fussy about sourcing a Mongolian project, however even if that were true, i would have thought Canning Basin was what got him onboard in the first place. It sent a pretty clear signal that something was amiss. Perhaps he forsaw the lengthy lag ahead as the coy waited on heritage and clearance, yet one would expect that was fairly forseeable, just by tracking the history of other coys in the basin, namely REY.
