Are we in some sort of a group alternative reality/nightmare or what.

Can someone explain to me the monumental difficulties in pumping brine up a few metres into an evaporation dam & letting nature take its course in one of the highest evaporation areas in Australia.

It didn't seem to be a big deal way back in 2008 judging by the Timetable & 12 Months Outlook published in April 2008.

They were saying back then that between May & December 2008 they would:

May/June 2008  -  Initiate environmental studies & mining approvals.
June/July 2008  -  Commence project design & engineering.
-  Road, airstrip & accommodation construction.
July/August 2008  -  Construction of pilot ponds & brine trench.
October 2008  -  Harvest & process pilot pond salts.
-  Commence stockpiling.
Nov/Dec 2008  -  Finalise pond design & layout.
Dec/Jan 2008  -  Complete bankable feasibility study.


Come on Directors  ..... how about for once in this sorry saga being up front with shareholders.
What the F is happening ?

& please explain how a MASSIVE project like Fortescue Metals can be completed in way less time than you mob can even get a pilot pond going ?
