    What's the difference between p value and statistical significance? Statistically significant means a result is unlikely due to chance; The p-value is the probability of obtaining the difference we saw from a sample (or a larger one) if there really isn’t a difference for all users. A conventional (and arbitrary) threshold for declaring statistical significance is a p-value of less than 0.05.

    This new data creates a very strong argument for the deletion of placebo. Not sure if it is in our plan, but I'd now like to see our Phase 2b/3 trial use just ATL1102, and then ATL1102 with steriods as usual. Not only will we stop messing with a dozen kids lives (injecting them with nothing to get zero effect whilst they continue to spiral down) we save perhaps $10 million in doing so.
