Yeah, see, traditionally, something is said to have "paid off" when it "makes money". And that is "real" money, not imaginary "future" money.
At the end of the day it was the ANP board who have steered this coy to where it currently is. Haemorrhaging money with no real prospect of advancing the drugs. I guess if your ANPO options had expired with no replacement, at least you could blame it on the monkey plasma.
