They make the market. Their job is to see no one can make a profit by selling back to them. Pressure retail o sell at loss. Not that they can do that for ever. Therefore, if you can not hold, even at loss, don't buy. That is the only possible way you will ever make a profit. Even then there is no guarantee. You may be in a stock that will go down perpetually, or longer than you can carry.
