Iron ore price was $162 overnight. May soon once more be edging closer to $200. China is under the pump again as the effects of jawboning down the IO price has spectacularly failed. The pressure is on for construction ASAP given Omicron delayed the project commencement already by a quarter.
Some say, for China to talk down the IO spot price with steel industry crackdowns and production curbs only works once or twice before the seaborne market recognizes the boy who cries wolf. LOL
