I know who it is. It is not our illustrious Executive Chairman. It is our man on the ground in Cameroon.

And yes, Alexandre Mbiam has not featured for some time now. He's probably off sewing up other projects on behalf of his paymasters.


As for the statement. It does not say Ding went to Africa, only that they were obtaining the necessary approvals for him to go. Instead, he went to China.



The last sentence does not confirm he was in Africa either. He could have had discussions by phone whilst representatives gathered information.

None of those gentlemen in the signing ceremony photos are Ding. Sorry, but that's what I know.
